Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Brooks


Hi! My name is Debbie Brooks and I have been the librarian at Bangor Union Elementary for nineteen years. For the last eight years I have also run our school's computer lab, teaching basic computer literacy, typing, and learning programs. 


The Bangor School library offers a large selection of fiction and non-fiction, both classics and contemporary titles to meet the needs of students K-8. Students in every grade attend library once a week to listen to a story and browse for books. Bangor Union Elementary participates in the Accelerated Reader (AR) program, where students can earn points for completing books in their reading level and passing comprehension tests.
