Message From Superintendent & Principal
Dear Bangor Families and
Community Members,
I would like to welcome everyone
to the 2018-2019 school year! This is going to be a great year.
Our goals in the Bangor Union
Elementary School District include:
- Creating a school
culture where all students feel physically, emotionally, and academically safe
and supported.
- Developing an
academic program that provides a logical and coordinated sequence of curriculum
between grades, cutting edge instructional methodology and technology, and
support systems for academic growth to meet the needs of diverse learners and
meet and exceed state standards.
- Preparing students
for secondary and post-secondary education and successful life experiences by
developing resilient, lifelong learners and problem solvers who conduct
themselves with integrity and character to be productive and responsible
citizens in a democratic society.
We desire for all of students to
reach their academic and social-emotional potential at Bangor Elementary School.
The Bangor staff and Governing School Board is committed to being caring and
hard working. I am excited to be part of this incredible team.
As I have been a teacher for the
last fourteen years and am also the Kindergarten/ 1st Grade combo
teacher, I feel a great connection to the classroom. Students are the reason I
am here. As Superintendent/ Principal I encourage your input on ways to support
our students.
Please don’t hesitate to contact
staff members directly with concerns and praise. Contact information can be
found on our website http://www.bangorunion.org.
Let’s go Panthers! This is going
to be an awesome year!
Sincerely,
Mrs.
Lauren Albert
